The final count

Posted by runninng4jesus under: Uncategorized.

After walking 18 miles and running 15 last week I gained three pounds. I can accept that, considering how much I ate this weekend. As soon as my lower back heals, I will get back in the groove. I must confess the food was good and I enjoyed every bite.

Hey, thanks for checking up on me… Last week was tough!! Two days of Thanksgiving (wonderful times), but exercising and eating was tough. Exercising took a back seat as I was cooking, cooking, cooking! Sounds like your Thanksgiving turned out great!
I do not know how you get out in the cold and run…ever!! I am not someone who likes to be cold…I know you eventually warm up…but just starting out the door makes me shiver right now!!! I have learned that if I do not exercise in the morning…it doesn’t get done! (Except for my pilates class) That is my goal this week: Get on a better sleep schedule and exercise after a quiet time in the morning…(which means getting up earlier!)
Good luck on your Jan. Half-marathon goal! Are you doing a marathon in Jan. also?? BRRRRR!
Take care! Rhonda

Hey thanks for the suggestion on running in the cold. Yes, Arkansas is a lot colder then CA now I am sure. Do you wear a tracking device when you run? If so can you recommend one to me. I’m hoping Santa will bring me one…I’m not sure which is the best. Any suggestions would again be appreciated. Have a blessed day.
